For those who wish to know, this is my first release as a solo artist. <br /><br />The trio was developed during a year long residency at Hartford, CT's Real Art Ways in 2005. Steven Walcott at Engine records (who I met while recording a double trio CD with Taylor Ho Bynum) called me up and asked if I would like to record my music.
